Custom-Carved Door with Sidelights. Door was delivered complete with custom jambs for perfect onsite installation.
This project began when the owner of this Detroit, Michigan home contacted a well-known guy in the wood industry in Oregon. The owner was searching for a proven manufacturer of custom, hand-carved doors. Following his introduction to Old World Door, he sent a photo of the door design he wanted to reproduce. Working from the photo, OWD created this hand-carved door which is one of 11 hand-carved doors that provide a “wow” factor throughout the substantial estate-style house. 3687 | 1-5

The 11 hand-carved doors were crafted in the OWD shop, assembled and tested prior to shipment. The doors were shipped in this unfinished condition to permit owner to oversee the final finish. The owner used the unfinished doors as his canvas to manage the “final look” for all 11 OWD doors in his Detroit home.
